Why do I need a therapist or coach who works with ethically non-monogamous (ENM) individuals?
Since 2011, The Pincus Center has been working with people who are in the process of embracing non-monogamous identities whether they be polyamorous, swingers, or open to multiple sexual partners. We help people of all relationship orientations to make peace with themselves and create harmony in their relationships.
People in relationships often need assistance with the process of opening up and we can help with making emotional safety plans, patterns around check ins and communication, and establishing boundaries and agreements. Contact us today to get matched with a therapist or coach!
All of our therapists and coaches work with ENM individuals and most of them also work with couples! View our therapists and coaches and reach out today to schedule a free 20 minute consultation. The Pincus Center can support you!

Why should I get therapy as an ENM person?
The Pincus Center works with individuals who are discovering that they or a partner identify as non-monogamous. We understand the nuances of how this can bring up past attachment issues, remind us of issues around infidelity from our past, or make us feel shame. Together we can turn navigating this emotionally complicated landscape into a beautiful and connecting experience. We bring an understanding to your sessions that can’t be found elsewhere.

Why should I get coaching as an ENM person?
Whether you are brand new to ENM or have been practicing this relationship style for a while, people often find that they could use some support. We are here to help you figure out how to do things in a way that maximizes fun, safety, growth, and connectivity, while minimizing the challenges, roadblocks, and potentially harmful situations. In general, our coaches help you develop better tools and skills around ENM, discover your own personal areas of growth, and set and achieve goals to step more fully into the life you and your partners want to be living. A coach will encourage you, challenge you, and give you practical resources to help you succeed.
A coach is not a therapist, even though you may be working on some of the same issues with a coach and a therapist. Our coaches are very careful to make the distinction and let you know if they think your work would be enhanced by or better done with a therapist.
