Experience and Background of Reese Hebrank, LCSW-C (he/him)
My message to future clients is simple: I want to help you build a whole, meaningful life.
Let me help you move toward your goals through the processes of opening up (feel your feelings), being present (within yourself and/or within your environment), and doing what matters to you in life (living your values). Together we can improve your mental flexibility and capacity to deal with life’s challenges.
I have a flexible approach and pull from a broad professional background that ranges from disability case management to behavioral health mobile crisis to private practice at The Pincus Center since 2021. Through it all, my work continues to be client-centered, based on fundamental beliefs in client autonomy and self-determination.
My own experience as a disabled, Autistic, Jewish, queer, trans and non-monogamous man means I have a baseline understanding of how existing with these identities can impact a life. Having lived experience at these intersections, along with years of professional development and clinical expertise, allows us to deeply explore how biology, psychology, trauma, relationships, and systems of oppression impact your mental health.
I have been licensed as a Master’s Social Worker since 2017 and achieved my Clinical Social Worker license in 2021. I am now licensed to practice in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I work with teens ages 13 and up, individual adults, and relationship groups (couples, triads, +) via telehealth. I also offer supervision to Master’s of Social Work interns and Master’s level social workers in DC and Virginia. Please reach out for more information!
