Experience and Background of Rev. Jenellen Fischer, Coach (she/her)

Thriving in your sexuality and the ability to share intimacy are vital to your wellness, no matter where you are in relationship to those parts of your self. I provide sex and relationship coaching to guide you on that path, meet you where you are, and help you get where you’re going. Your truth might include ethical non-monogamy (ENM), kink, monogamy, asexuality, solo polyamory, relationship anarchy, or sacred sexuality. There’s a place for all of it in session with me.

I believe that my role in this lifetime is to partner with people to help them explore their inner and outer life, transform their pain, and discover who they have the chance to become when they experience inclusive support, guidance, and nurturing.

My coaching services ensure that you don’t have to do it all by yourself, whether “it” is opening your relationship, reconnecting with your physical senses, improving your dating life, or learning to safely explore your BDSM desires, to name a few. Coaching is a one-on-one process that helps you identify where you want to be and create the structure to get there. It’s not the same as therapy, though they complement each other well! Coaching with me is perfect for:

  • Setting attainable, specific goals
  • Holding accountability for your growth work
  • Analyzing problems, fears, and hurts to understand and resolve them
  • Discovering and building upon your intuition and inner guidance system
  • Being challenged to stretch past your comfort (or inertia!) zone
  • Building skills to succeed at challenges and explore new aspects of yourself
  • Getting the encouragement and support to keep you motivated

See our FAQ if you still have questions about the difference between coaching and therapy!

Coaches use many different tools and methods to help clients. I customize my work with every client to meet their unique needs and learning styles, drawing on a diverse background that includes training as an Interfaith Minister, breath and energy worker, Western NeoTantra practitioner, and opera singer (how does opera singing relate to coaching? Let’s talk and I’ll tell you!). Our sessions might include:

  • Guided and mindfulness meditation and breathwork
  • Embodiment exercises (helping you to live more fully and presently in your body)
  • “Homeplork” and “plorksheets” (combining play + work into writing and other exploratory exercises)
  • Intuitive art and music/sound exercises
  • Education including reading, video, or audio assignments
  • Goal setting and strategy planning for step-by-step movement/change
  • Check-ins and reflective discussions

My coaching practice is an inclusive, educated, safe, and welcoming space no matter who you are. I work with single adults, couples, and moresomes from a variety of backgrounds and lifestyles. I especially welcome working with people who are:

  • Queer
  • Transgender or genderfluid
  • Neurodivergent
  • Nonmonogamous or exploring polyamory/swinging/ENM/relationship anarchy
  • Kinky or exploring BDSM, kink, or fetishes
  • Marginalized due to their body’s size, appearance, or ability
  • Survivors of trauma (while I am not a therapist, I am trauma-informed)
  • Seeking help with a major life transition
  • Socially or romantically anxious and struggling to connect
  • Feeling held back by religious injury or the effects of sex-negative cultures
  • Seeking an embodied personal spiritual practice or sacred sexuality practice

Did reading this give you a burst of hope, a tingle in your throat, or a feeling of “YES!”? If so, your body may be telling you that you’re ready to create some change in your life. And even if your body is saying “intrigued but unsure” or “this is scary,” you’re probably being called to explore and see. Reach out to me for a free consultation and let’s discover how I can help guide you safely down the road to the you that you were always meant to be.
